Bio

Phoebe is an undergraduate with senior standing in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering that is researching human-robotic interfaces for long-term habitation of the moon and other planetary environments. She has done work with aerospace vehicle design to service planetary rotorcraft research, urban and advanced air mobility development, and UAS systems. She works as a founding board member of the Vertical Flight Society’s Student Chapter at UC Davis, where she is a lead designer in the hybrid electric retrofit of the NASA XV-15 tiltrotor.

At the HRVIP lab, Phoebe's research consists of display considerations under the EVA human-robotics interface project. Specifically, she engages with ways in which to improve depth of field of real-time visual analysis during surgical operations with the in-EVA dexterity-enhancing robotic arm.
