Jonathan is a fourth-year undergraduate student double majoring in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. In the HRVIP Lab, Jonathan performs a series of environmental tests on CubeSat subsystems, specifically HDDs.  His hobbies and interests include space, hiking, and bowling.

When not studying, Jonathan gives much of his time mentoring/tutoring or even lending a helping hand to those in need. He is currently the Secondary Leader for the Success Through Education Mentoring (STEM) club at UC Davis, to which he devotes his time weekly. As someone who has faced plenty of challenges and difficulties in his life so far, he believes in giving back to the community.

After graduating college, he plans to further pursue his education in Aerospace Engineering with a focus in combustion/rocket propulsion. He hopes to one day support NASA's Artemis mission to establish a human presence on the moon. No dream is too big for Jonathan!
