Cordell is a fourth-year undergraduate double majoring in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. Since transferring to Davis in 2019, he has been involved with several projects and clubs revolving around spacecraft and propulsion technologies, which is where his present interests lie. He is currently the co-lead of  Attitude Determination and Control System Testing for the Space and Satellite Systems club in support of the REALOP CubeSat.
