Bio
Aitana is a junior exchange student from Spain, completing her Aerospace Engineering degree at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. As a member of the HRVIP Lab, she contributes to the Float Unit as part of the HDD project, a ground-based testbed developed to validate small satellite attitude determination and control systems prior to launch.
In addition to her work in the lab, Aitana has gained experience in the aerospace sector through student engineering projects. She serves as Structure and Thermal Control Team Leader for the S-ART CubeSat project and has previously contributed to the structural design of a flying wing prototype for national competition.
Outside the lab, Aitana enjoys reading, swimming, and playing the piano and violin!
